Spottune explores adaptable retail audio

An official application article examines track-mounted and alternative mounting formats across retail, exhibitions and hospitality.

Spottune’s 26 June 2026 article examines plug-and-play audio through real applications rather than a new product launch. It describes how speakers using existing lighting tracks or other mounting formats can adapt to commercial layouts without new audio cable runs.

The examples include Camping Mar restaurant in Barcelona, Anker Bak Studio’s temporary exhibition and The Hoxton Barcelona terrace. Track, cord and recessed solutions were used according to each site, rather than forcing one mount into every space.

The practical value is easier repositioning and a more flexible approach to store changes. Lighting-track compatibility, electrical safety, coverage and the suitability of each mounting point still need to be confirmed for an individual project.
