GUDE’s September 2021 brief presents Expert Power Control 1202 as a four-output PDU with integrated metering. Individual outlets can be switched at the unit or remotely over HTTPS and SNMP. The family includes Type F, Type J and IEC C13 Lock versions; the image here shows the 1202-4 IEC Lock variant.

Startup delay, programmable schedules and switching sequences make the PDU relevant to systems that need a defined operating routine. Input-side electrical measurements and two energy counters provide data for reviewing power use. Each outlet can have an ICMP/TCP watchdog to trigger a response when a monitored device stops responding.

An optional temperature and humidity sensor adds environmental information and threshold-based actions. As this is an established technical brief, current compatibility, available variants and firmware must be checked. These functions can support service planning, but do not replace a correctly specified power and network design.
