Fohhn announced its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications on 18 November 2024. ISO 9001 concerns the company’s quality management processes, including consistent working methods, risk identification and continuous improvement. It does not act as a performance rating for an individual loudspeaker.
ISO 14001 addresses systematic environmental management and efficient resource use. Fohhn reports a sustainability committee, annual corporate carbon-footprint calculations and a long-term climate-neutrality commitment. Its sustainability report documents the measures and progress rather than presenting climate neutrality as an already completed result.
The same announcement notes that selected Fohhn loudspeakers hold EN 54-24 certification for voice-alarm applications. Such requirements remain model-specific. Project teams should verify the exact product and system requirements when selecting equipment for public buildings or safety-related audio.
