Bose announced SoundLink Max on 2 May 2024, expanding its portable Bluetooth speaker family. The design pairs a removable rope handle with a silicone-wrapped steel enclosure, making transport and day-to-day handling part of the product concept.
Three front transducers and two passive radiators support a wide stereo presentation and low-frequency output. The Bose app provides bass, midrange and treble adjustment so users can tailor the balance without relying on a fixed sound profile.
The official specification includes IP67 protection, up to 20 hours of playback, USB-C device charging and an AUX input. Actual battery life depends on use, while local availability remains separate from the original global announcement.
